Day 1:
  a) Issue topics for study to the class that they can study in pairs
  b) Outline expectations for material to be handed in as well as presentation criteria
  c) Remainder of the class is used to research given topic

Day 2:
  a) Hand out "Work Sheet 1; Heat, Pressure, and the Winds"
  b) Complete Work Sheet 1 with Internet access

Day 3:
  a) Take up first worksheet in class
  b) Hand out "Work Sheet 2; Moisture, Weather Patterns and Prediction"
  c) Complete Work Sheet 2 with Internet access

Day 4:
  a) Take up second worksheet in class
  b) Hand out "Work Sheet 3; Climate: Creation, Zones, and Changes"
  c) Complete Work Sheet 3 with Internet access

Day 5:
  a) Take up third worksheet in class
  b) Start presentations for topics issued on Day 1
  c) Issue review for weather

Day 6:
  Test
 

During the course of the unit, collect data from the Weather Network and track the projected weather for a specific date and how the forecast changes over time. On day 5 a discussion pertaining to the accuracy of weather forecasting can occur as well as discussing why forecasting the weather has become so important to people in Saskatchewan and around the world.
