Climate Versus Weather
 

Weather is what is happening outside at this moment.
The weather could be described as:
   - Clear or overcast,
   - Hot, warm, cool, or cold,
   - Raining, snowing, hailing, or no precipitation,
   - It might also be lightning, a tornado, or hurricane.

Climate is a description of the typical weather that an area experiences.
The climate could be described as:
   - Hot, warm, cool, or cold seasons. This could include average temperatures for each season or month.
   - Wet, moist, or dry. This could include seasonal average precipitation for each season or month.
   - It might also include the amount of sunshine the area receives.

 

Go to www.weathernetwork.com and answer the following questions. You may cut and paste these questions into a word document. Make sure that you put your answers between each question, the final copy contains your name, and that all the information fits on one sheet of paper.
