Method: The length of the method will vary greatly. It is important that all the angles have been adequately covered. When the method is written in your final report it will be changed to the past tense (“we will do” turns to “we did”)

Experiment: If I am doing an experiment, this is where I would outline my procedure being sure to outline all the different variables and step by step description of everything I plan to do so if someone repeated my experiment it would yield the same results because they wouldn’t do anything different than you had. Also included should be a list of all required materials.

Innovation: If I am doing an innovation I would include all the drawn plans of what it is I am going to construct and all the materials required to construct the project. This also must include the tools that will be required during construction and those people who will help you in areas that should be supervised or completed by adults. Include how you plan to test your innovation to ensure that it does what you hoped it would.

Study: At least four sources should have been collected and key points that are to be used highlighted.
