Day 4 Quebec City

In the morning we headed just outside of
Quebec City to the waterfall where the
international fireworks competition was being held.

Lindsey heads down the walkway towards
the base of the waterfall.

The view of the falls near the base, it was
as far as we could go since a large part of
the walkway was blocked for the fireworks competition.

We then went to the National Assembly...Quebec's
equivalent to our Provincial Legislature.

Outside the National Assembly is kilometer 0, similar to what
one would see in many of the capitols in European countries,

To the left is where the members of the National Assembly meet, and to the right is the National Assembly's Senate.

This is the stain glass wall that is seen when
entering the restaurant in the National Assembly.

While Aaron runs around taking photos
Lindsey rests here heals.

The front of the National Assembly

And a close up of the fountain at the front entrance of the National Assembly

Looking towards Old Quebec

A few random pics taken while we were exploring the old walls around the city.

Along the walkway along the river that Quebec City was built on.

The board walk, I guess you could call it. Several street
performers and artisans were on the walk.

Street performers that we saw while we walked the streets in Quebec.

A statue outside of the festival.

Looking over the wall in old Quebec.

Cannons that protect the walled city.

Crepes with maple syrup made the old fashion way.

Lindsey tries the Hookah pipe..."this is supposed to be green apples? I don't think so"

Tastes green apple-tastic to me.

Time to eat again, a little middle eastern treat.

The sun starts to set on the city.

The magic sun spreads across Chateau Frontenac.

Hello? Snow White?

A big plate of frog's legs on our final night.

And for me too.
