Day 18 & 19 Niagara Falls

Once we arrived (late because we took that waste of
our time trip to Gillette stadium) we went down to the
water for the fireworks. Here is a picture of the falls
on the American side of the river.

The fireworks going off to end the day.

A view down the strip in Niagara Falls.

Ripley's believe it or not museum.

And a frightfully good burger. This is right near the haunted
house Lindsey wanted to go into, and almost didn't make it
back out. Many thanks to that seven-year-old that helped us
to the exit.

Welcome to MarineLand. Aaron looks forward to the rollercoaster, Lindsey can't wait to see the Beluga Whales.

Baby Beluga!

Lindsey has always dreamt about petting a Beluga Whale.

In the observation deck we see a baby and her mother.

The baby swimming by its mother.

A few pictures of the Beluga whales from the observation deck.

I think we better go now, I think these two would like
a little time alone.

And feeding the Beluga whales.

That's all folks...wave goodbye.

This bear looks so cute, but he would
eat you.

These little deer look so cute, but they would eat you...
...if you were a shrub.

Hey there little guys.

I'll show this to my kids some day and tell them deer
live in nests on the ground and lay eggs.

It is still early and I'm not the only one yawning.

He appears to be catching a nap while he is swimming,
I hope his supervisor doesn't see or he'll get canned
(in more ways than one)

It's like a scene out of Free Willy. Did you know that Killer Whale is not the correct name for these majestic
creatures. It turns out they are actually a type of dolphin. I guess that makes them Killer Dolphins.

I think this mooch is looking for some cotton candy.

And the show ends with a splash. During the course
of the show I also lost my cellular phone to the salt water.

This is a walrus.

And this is a seal.

And this is a walrus.
One might say the show stunk in more ways than one.

Now this was pretty entertaining. Look at that seal go.

Seal jumps over woman.

Dolphin jumps out of water.

Two dolphins jump out of water.
(maybe Lindsey should have wrote the captions
for these pictures...she got a little more out of them)

A picture of a ride we did not go one,
I think they call it the puk-a-nator.

We tried to surprise Walter Ostanek but
his eyes are pretty good for a guy his age.
(and by age we mean old)

On this night we went to a German Alpine house for Schnitzel. I would say you
should check it out if you are in the area but Walter said it has since closed down.

The falls in the morning.

Lindsey and the falls.

The Canadian falls.

Aaron and the Canadian falls.

Aaron at Ostanek's music store.

Irene Ostanek with Aaron and Lindsey,
in the music store to end our trip.

From here it was onto the plane and back
home. Hope you enjoyed our travels.
