 The plan was to leave Newfoundland at midnight and arrive 14 hours later on Cape Breton Island. Unfortunately, due to the ferry delay we did not board until 7:00 in the morning, meaning we slept before we got on the ferry...in our car...waiting in line for hours. We then spent 14 hours of daylight on the ferry with nothing to do but listen to jigs and reels, be continually vibrated by the ferry, and drink copious amounts of Alexander Keiths India Pale Ale. |
